Do you have to be a member to come to the meetings?
All mothers of preschoolers are invited to attend two meetings for free to check us out.
Are there any fees?
Once you have attended two meetings you do need to become a member of MOPs. There is a $25 yearly membership fee for MOPS international. Included with your membership you will receive a subscription to MOMS Sense magazine, a MOPS bag, Mom E-mail, MOPS iron on appliques, and MOPS stickers featuring veggie tales. (Scholarships to cover this membership fee are available.)
What about childcare?
MOPs has a program called MOPPETS, which provides child care for children ages birth through Kindergarten, during our MOPS meetings. All our child care providers have had a criminal background check. At each meeting we take up a voluntary collection for this service. If you have home schooled children and are interested in attending, please contact us so we can accommodate them as well.
